Futures Business Intern

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team for the summer. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work on meaningful projects that impact our company’s data strategy. You will receive mentorship, training, and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and practices. 

This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting within a real-world business setting.  You will work on key analytics initiatives that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. We would love to speak with you if you have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for working with data, and familiarity with tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel. 

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). 

• Basic proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction and analysis. 

It Would Be Great If You Also Had . . . 

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. 

• Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure). 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations. 

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines. 

• Experience in a business setting working with datasets from multiple sources. 

What Will You Be Doing in This Role? 

• Extracting and preparing data for analysis and reporting. 

• Developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools. 

• Analyzing data trends to support business decisions. 

• Collaborating with teams across the company to understand their data needs. 

• Documenting findings and presenting insights to stakeholders. 

• Supporting data-driven initiatives that enhance decision-making across the business. 

About the Team 

You will be part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, which is responsible for delivering business insights, reporting, and analytics solutions that empower decision-making. Our team collaborates closely with business units across the organization, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. The team consists of 65 professionals, and you will report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics.
