The Information Technology team has the mission of becoming a true business partner and we are looking for a highly analytical and business-savvy Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. This role requires expertise in data analysis, visualization, causal inference, and business impact assessment. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Power BI, Python, and JavaScript, with a strong ability to communicate findings in a meaningful way. A curious, agile, and solution-oriented mindset is critical to success. A background in capital markets or investment banking is highly beneficial, as this role will involve working with financial datasets to support strategic initiatives and optimize business outcomes.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX queries and custom JavaScript visualizations to provide intuitive, real-time business intelligence.
- Perform deep data analysis using Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) to uncover trends, detect patterns, and identify causal relationships.
- Apply causal analysis and inferencing techniques to assess the impact of business decisions, strategies, and external factors.
- Communicate insights effectively through compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders.
- Work closely with business teams to understand key challenges and provide data-driven solutions that directly impact revenue, efficiency, and strategic growth.
- Ensure data integrity by cleaning, validating, and integrating data from multiple sources, improving reliability and decision-making accuracy.
- Leverage statistical methods and predictive analytics for forecasting and risk assessment.
- Document analytical workflows, best practices, and insights to ensure repeatability and knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Power BI development and customization, including DAX and JavaScript integration.
- Strong portfolio showcasing data visualization and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Power BI expertise – advanced DAX, custom visualizations, and JavaScript for enhanced interactivity.
- Python for data analysis – proficiency with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, and statistical techniques.
- JavaScript – experience in extending Power BI functionality and creating custom visuals.
- SQL proficiency – strong data querying and transformation skills.
- Understanding of inferential statistics – ability to identify causal relationships and actionable insights from data.
- Experience in capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
- Exposure to machine learning (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) for predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with Git and version control for managing code and analysis scripts.
- Experience with agile development methodologies in a data-driven environment.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Azure Machine Learning, Spark, or other relevant technologies.
- Curiosity and fast learning – ability to quickly understand financial concepts and business challenges.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving – strong ability to break down complex problems and provide data-driven solutions.
- Effective communication – capable of presenting technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agility and adaptability – ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset – continuously seeking ways to improve processes, tools, and business impact through data.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.
