Principal HR Data Analyst (Contract)

Overview: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR Data Analytics individual to join our team. As an HR Data Analytics, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting HR data to provide insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. You will work closely with HR leaders to identify trends, monitor metrics, and develop reports that support data-driven decision-making. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools for use with our BOD and Executive Leadership team. 
• Collect, consolidate HR data from multiple sources, add or calculate missing data fields – design in a way that is automated and can be easily repeated and refreshed monthly 
• Work with HR Leadership team to identify the key/critical develop and maintain HR metrics, 
• Work with the consolidated HR Data set to identify trends and provide insights and recommendations to CPO and Senior HR Leadership team 
• Develop Trends and KPIs to track performance and progress against strategic goals 
• Partner with HR team to monitor risk areas and potential action plans 
• Review diversity analytics and establish core metrics 
• Stay up-to-date on trending metrics and new data insight opportunities 

Qualifications Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Science or related field with 5-7 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, or related field. 
• Excellent Excel ability and experience, specifically in Macros and other automation techniques.  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, present findings to a standard suitable for BOD, CEO and Executive level.  
• Experience with HR data and systems such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, or other relevant systems. 
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other relevant tools, and the ability to translate data/analysis into a simplified story in an executive level PowerPoint.  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders. 
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. 
   

Target hourly range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $84 hourly.  Position length 6 months.
