1XRD is the Artificial Intelligence domain of Central Research & Technology composed of researchers and research engineers in artificial intelligence working to develop technologies bridging the gap between research and business. The team collaborates with academics and stirs research projects to push the state-of-the art towards solving Airbus relevant problems.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Develop a Graph Neural Network with Reinforcement Learning algorithm that could solve a Job shop scheduling problem(JSSP) or/and Resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP).
Integration of the developed algorithm in a generic RL library
Benchmark the performances of the developed algorithm with current state of the art solutions.
Present the work and results to the project team.
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Computer Science, Mathematics or an equivalent field of study.
Basic knowledge of machine learning and neural network algorithms
Basic knowledge in combinatorial optimization problems is a plus.
Experience in graph neural networks and reinforcement learning would be beneficial.
Programming experience in Python.
Experience with Python libraries such as Numpy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc. Pytorch is a plus.
Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS is a plus.
Able to work independently.
Proficient in English.
