ABOUT THE ROLE

At Vitamin Well Group, we’re looking for an experienced and business-oriented AI Lead to develop and own our AI strategy and initiatives from our Stockholm HQ. This is a brand-new role that offers an exciting opportunity to define our AI agenda, with the view to drive operational efficiencies whilst supporting our ambitious commercial objectives across our renowned brands like NOCCO, Barebells, and Vitamin Well.

The ideal candidate will take a pragmatic approach to AI strategy creation – working collaboratively across teams to define and implement initiatives that make a tangible difference to day-to-day operations and a measurable impact. They will take on an evangelist role within the organisation, driving awareness of the opportunity AI offers to drive value across functions and working closely with teams to execute on AI initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Strategy development: Build an AI strategy that is anchored on achieving business objectives and driving operational efficiencies, and that clearly maps out resourcing, data, technology, and budget needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with relevant business, technical, and data stakeholders to develop ideas, roadmaps and solutions that make a practical difference and impact to the business.
• Evaluation: For identified opportunities, determine the most effective and feasible approach to delivery and value impact (e.g., proof of concepts, buy vs. build, internal vs. external resourcing).
• Prioritisation: Prioritise and sequence AI initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment to ensure focus on maximum value creation and impact.
• End-to-end delivery: Lead AI projects from start to finish – setting up roadmaps and governance mechanisms to ensure successful delivery and appropriately coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Management of existing AI solutions: Once delivered, continuously assess the value and impact of existing AI solutions, integrating their performance and optimisation potential into the broader AI strategy.
• Stakeholder management: Keep leadership and broader organisational stakeholders adequately informed on AI strategy, progress, and impact – setting up the right channels and cadence to do so.
• Education: Foster a culture of innovation by inspiring and educating the broader organisation on the use of AI – explaining its potential, with practical examples, to drive value across teams.
• Staying ahead: Stay informed on AI industry developments and build strategic partnerships with AI startups and solution providers – evaluating how these can contribute to Vitamin Well’s success.
• Responsible AI practices: Implement responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and security standards.

WHO ARE YOU?

• 4+ years of experience in AI, digital, data related roles (experience in FMCG or consulting a plus)
• Proven ability to translate business challenges or opportunities into pragmatic technical solutions
• Experience in building, executing, and scaling high-impact digital or AI programmes.
• Fluency and demonstratable technical knowledge of current AI solutions (e.g. LLMs), advanced analytical tools (e.g. Python) and statistical modelling approaches (e.g. ML and forecasting)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – with a proven ability to engage with broad stakeholder groups to drive the best-outcome
