The team you'll be part of

The Strategic Applications & Automation Team (SAAT) is part of the Nokia Infrastructure team, whose mission is to develop efficient, economical, and sustainable data solutions that will enable our customers to increase Nokia's profitability by augmenting analytical and intelligent automation capabilities.  This team is responsible to deliver

  • state-of-the-art/sophisticated performance scorecards
  • Pre-sales and financial forecasting tools
  • Project Management, test automation, and continuous improvement tools
  • A modernized common data lake incorporating comprehensive data modeling practices

 As part of our team, you will:

  • Play a significant role in developing and enhancing our transformation team.  This role combines technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Be part of an Agile software development team.
  • Analyze and estimate new tasks while efficiently communicating progress with your tasks.
  • Work closely with technical experts to achieve the committed objectives.
  • Play an active role in creating/monitoring ML pipelines and tweaking them as needed.
     

Qualifications

Ideally, you have:

  • Fluent English speaking, reading & writing skills
  • Can work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Experience with Python or any other scripting language
  • Sound knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Have basic knowledge of commonly used source control mechanisms, like git.
  • Basic knowledge of data management tools and databases
  • A self-learner and open-minded
  • Willing to take on new and interesting challenges with a can-do attitude
  • Are motivated, proactive, and innovative, and take initiative
  • Enthusiastic about impacting the world for good through technology

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, etc., or a related field with an accredited school in US.
