About the Role
We are looking for a Summer Data Scientist Intern to join our team and work on real-world data science challenges. As an intern, you will collaborate with our Data Scientists to develop robust data solutions that enhance the business decision-making processes. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data science, feature engineering, and experimentation in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Engineering: Design, create, and optimize meaningful features for machine learning models to support MLEs.
  • A/B Testing Analysis: Conduct rigorous statistical analyses to measure the impact of algorithmic changes and provide actionable insights.
  • Data Warehouse Management: Work with large-scale datasets, optimize data pipelines, and ensure data availability for analytical and modeling purposes.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain dashboards to track key metrics and enable data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL or Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.)  for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib/Seaborn).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills, particularly in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with data science projects, including feature engineering, experimentation, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $30-$60/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
