We are currently looking for a Data Specialist to join our Balıkesir Factory team.

Location: Balıkesir

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Data Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;

Data Specialist is responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining Finished Goods(FERT) and Semi Finished Goods(HALB) Material records in SAP, ensuring compliance with company standards. It involves collaborating with teams such as Production, Procurement, Supply Chain resolving data inconsistencies, and proposing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Reporting to the Financial Controller key responsibilities will include close working with the Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, to provide support in their daily job that includes:

• Material creation and modification; process change requests as required which could include change/addition to Bill of Material(BOM), recipe amendments etc. Analyze and validate the provided information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and standards, including codes, units of measure, composition, packaging data, classifications, and technical details.
• Updating key elements of master data for respective Finished Goods(FERT) and Semi Finished Goods(HALB) materials: scrap factors, efficiency rate, crewing, energy requirement
• Cleansing of master data and performing regular health checks. Identify and resolve issues related to material records, such as duplicates or inconsistent information.
• Work closely with other teams, such as Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, to ensure the integrity and quality of technical material data. This includes communicating changes, updates, or issues related to material records.
• Actively validate/challenge line standards with Area Managers and the wider Factory, Supply Chain and Operational Decision Support building trust and reliability of information.    
• Be a custodian, ensuring compliance across all things related to Master Data and Globe processes. Identify opportunities to enhance the material registration processes and propose solutions to improve efficiency and data quality, such as creating or updating procedures.
• Do ad hoc tests for information in product master data to actual performance using Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO)

Which profile are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years experience in related fields
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Excellent command of English
• Good level of knowledge of Master Data Management in general and SAP
• Good level of usage of MS Communication tools such as Powerpoint, Teams, SharePoint and Data Analysis tools such as Excel
• Good competencies on problem solving, project management.
• Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir

What will make you successful?

To be successful for this role you will have good understanding of the manufacturing conversion process and related workflow of various inputs and resources like raw/pack material, energy, labour, and other costs.

You’ll have a strong numeracy skill, an excellent eye for detail and great observation and analytical skills that enable you to notice inconsistences in product master data and real life. The ability to be flexible and work under time pressure in a quick changing environment is crucial, you’ll be results focused, and curious in everything you do.
