Overview

As a Quality Assurance Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our data products and services. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, designing test cases, executing tests, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations. 

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and use cases to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts using industry-standard tools and templates
• Execute a variety of tests including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability tests utilizing Azure Data Factory, SSMS, SOAPUI, Power Shell and SQL
• Report, track, and verify defects and issues using Azure Devops, ensuring clear communication and resolution with the development team 
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, product owners, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects, providing valuable feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive efficiency and collaboration
• Communicate test results, status updates, and risks to stakeholders and management using a structured reporting format on a weekly basis
