We are seeking a Technical Master Data Specialist to support development and maintenance of our Technical Master Data at Dematic. In this role, you will work with a dynamic group with cross-functional resources, play a key role in supporting product development, and collaborate with team members to help build our culture of innovation. As part of our master data team, you will support the implementation of data management strategies so that data is understood, self-describing, locatable and usable from the start. In addition, you will help to improve our quality standards in master data and work through initiatives to standardize technical master data for the SCS division of the KION Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Technical Master Data areas of SAP.
- Assist with the design, testing and implementation of new processes and/or enhancements to the systems that support Technical Master Data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely, using data quality procedures and standards.
- Create and maintain material master records in multiple production plants to enable production and logistics processes.
- Execute product changes in SAP and other tools.
- Ensure product data quality in material masters based on information on drawings and other product documentation.
- Advise design, purchasing, industrial engineering, and logistics in all questions concerning SAP master data processes and product structures.
Experience & Education:
- BA/BS in Master Data Management, Systems, Computer Science, Business, Operations Research / Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Master Data / Systems Role, SAP Master Data experience, especially in material master record.
- Experience working with transactional data, reference data and entity management.
- Ability to implement data governance and standards.
- Knowledge in Supply Chain Solutions Products desired, but not required.
- Enjoys operating in a fast-paced team environment under time constraints.
- Has strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to details.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse groups, subject matter experts and vendor resources.
