The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Fleet Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) team in Warner Robins, GA. The C-17 platform is a mature airlifter for air forces of the United States and allied countries. This position plays an important role in ensuring that C-17 aircraft continue to be reliable and mission capable
The ideal candidate will perform Support Engineering Data Specialist responsibilities for the C-17 Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) team.
Typical tasks include but not limited to the following:
- Serve as Point of Contact for all Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RM&A) published reports to internal and external customers (USAF & Foreign Military Sales).
- Process, organize, and distribute daily AFTO Form 781A to the RM&A analysts.
- Process incoming Spares & Provisioning requests and assign to the RM&A analysts.
- Process, review, and produce C-17 aircraft status metrics and all monthly, quarterly, and yearly RM&A’s Top Driver Reports.
- Process and distribute monthly C-17 flight hour usage.
- Maintain and update C-17 Reference Designator list.
- Maintain and publish C-17 Equipment List
- Performs analysis on Support General Aircraft Systems
- Participates in internal and external technical reviews.
- Coordinates and participates in process reviews, project management reviews and compliance audits.
- Participates in internal technical reviews, engineering integration efforts and builds technical reports to assist internal and external leadership strategic planning
- Defines and establishes metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supports implementation of management and industry best practices.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution of learning.
- 10+ yrs of relative work experience
- 5+ yrs of experience supporting military aviation industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Knowledge of aircraft systems
- Knowledge of USAF Field Maintenance Data Systems
- Experience in Microsoft Full Suite Applications
- Experience in Boeing Data/Information Systems

Summary pay range (Mid-Level - Level 3): $79,900 – 108,100
