In this role, you'll join the Program Management Office Solutions team, supporting with the Amadeus Cloud Platform migration. This is a unique chance to be part of one of the largest Public Cloud migrations from our Private Data Center. Collaborate with technology leaders to design, implement, and manage program solutions, automating the tracking of delivery activities and supporting IT Service Management processes.

Summary of the role

As a working student, you'll excel in agile IT solutions, manage tooling frameworks, and create operational dashboards using Python scripting, Microsoft PowerBI, and Co-Pilot AI. Leverage your skills with the Atlassian/ JIRA/ Confluence tool suite in an innovative setting.

• You will examine and evaluate the purpose and content of existing business reports such as IT Operational Reports and Infrastructure Automation tools to develop new, or improve the existing format, use, and control.

• Supporting the team to evolve our solutions, you should determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.

• Confer with customers in originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements.

• Recommend the establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.

• Develop, implement, test and support solutions for our Business Intelligence environment using self-service and generic dashboard functionalities.

Main responsibilities 

• Working with internal stakeholders, consolidate and analyse the information to propose appropriate IT solutions.

• Design and develop these IT solutions under the best quality standards.

• Nurture a continuous feedback and improvement cycle.

• Monitor the IT solutions in running environments and respond to incidents.

• Recommend process improvements and influence operating model evolution.

• Work with a healthy level of autonomy within the team and with internal stakeholders.

• Make decisions within your area of responsibility, considering available input information, possible alternatives, and anticipated consequences.

• Provide inputs and recommendations to orientate managerial and cross-organisation decisions.

About the ideal candidate

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or a related field

• Strong IT affinity with a keen interest in learning new technologies

• Basic understanding of Public Cloud technology

• Basic SQL knowledge

• Familiarity with Cloud DevOps Tools like Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, and their deployment in Public Cloud environments

• PowerBI basic understanding and usage

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• A strong ambition to deliver high-quality results

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive and eager to take on new challenges

• Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
