AI and Platform Engineering Lead – Vice President

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands on Platform lead to design, build and lead the development of a cutting-edge AI and Modern systems platform for the asset servicing industry. This platform will enable Agentic AI, streamline AI workflows, consolidate multiple systems and promote AI best practices across the organization.

As the platform lead, you will provide architecture guidance to application teams, collaborate with central teams to enable platform capabilities and ensure the platform is scalable, secure and aligned with business goals. This is a senior technical leadership role that requires a combination of full-stack development expertise, AI/ML knowledge and cloud platform experience( Azure or AWS )

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As AI and Platform Engineering Lead you will

• Platform Development:
  • Design and build a scalable, cloud-native platform that supports Agentic AI, AI workflows and modern system consolidation
  • Develop and integrate full-stack solutions using modern technologies to enable seamless functionality across the platform
  • Ensure the platform adheres to AI best practices and promotes reusability, scalability and performance
• Architecture Guidance:
  • Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance to application teams ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and business objectives
  • Define and enforce best practices for system design, development and deployment
• Collaboration and Enablement:
  • Work closely with central teams to enable platform capabilities and ensure smooth integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and prioritize use cases in the asset servicing industry
• Hands-On Leadership:
  • Lead by example, contributing hands-on to the development of critical platform components
  • Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Cloud and Modern Technologies:
  • Leverage cloud to build and deploy the platform ensuring optimal performance, security and cost-efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, cloud computing and full stack development to drive continuous improvements
• Risk and Compliance:
  • Ensure the platform adheres to regulatory standards and risk management practices  relevant to the asset servicing industry.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

• Strong experience in software development, platform engineering or system architecture with proven track record of building and leading large scale platforms
• Prior experience in AI/ML platform development and AI workflows is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS or GCP )
• Expertise in modern full stack technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a hands-on capacity
• Strategic mindset with focus on delivering business value through technology
• Experience in the financial services industry is plus
