We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Data Analyst with advanced expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to join the Global Commercial Excellence Team in Madrid with Signify.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, helping our business make data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support various business functions, with a strong focus on utilizing SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to deliver impactful reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction & Analysis:
  • Use SQL to query, manipulate, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources (databases, data warehouses, and APIs).
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and aggregation to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Power BI Reporting & Visualization:
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Utilize advanced Power BI features such as DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations to create insightful reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and develop custom dashboards tailored to business needs.
• Snowflake Data Modeling & Integration:
  • Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake for efficient reporting and analytics.
  • Work with Snowflake to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
  • Ensure optimal performance for queries and dashboards within the Snowflake data warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable data architectures and solutions using Snowflake.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate tasks, and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Provide insight and guidance on best practices for data visualization and reporting.
  • Provide insight and guidance on best practices for commercial (sales and marketing) processes.

• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations.
  • Strong experience working with Snowflake, including database design, data extraction, transformation, and querying.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data platforms.

• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to think critically.
  • Coaching and developing analytics capabilities in the Commercial Excellence team.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems prefered.

• Experience:
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with large datasets and data integration from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake's architecture and best practices for optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and meaningful way.
