Our focus is to acquire businesses with growth potential, manage them well and build them for the future.We are seeking a Data Analyst with 4-5 years of experience who is highly proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for querying, analyzing, and interpreting data to triage issues, support business decisions, optimize processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and leadership to understand business needs.
- Generate reports and drive data-driven initiatives.
- Write technical requirements and work closely with development teams to implement effective solutions.
- Develop, maintain, test, and implement new software features in the Product Suite.
- Provide production support, problem diagnosis, and resolution.
- Query and analyze data from SQL (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL (e.g., Couchbase, MongoDB) databases.
- Read and write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.
- Analyze and troubleshoot product stability issues reported by clients.
- Stay up to date with best practices in database management, data analysis, and emerging technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
- Define and document business and technical requirements, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Communicate with both internal and external clients to ensure changes meet requirements.
- Assist Professional Services/Support staff with investigations of technical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Four to five years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in a fast-paced software development team designing and developing mid to large scale web and client-server applications in a Microsoft/.Net environment.
- Strong knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven ability to perform software analysis and design, as well as requirements gathering.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
Working Environment
- Remote home office location.
- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- Periods of stress may occur.
- Adherence to confidentiality requirements regarding Protected Health Information, Personal Identifiable Information, or Privacy Records.
Essential Functions
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Largely a sedentary role; some filing required, including lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or stooping.
- Occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but availability during "core" work hours is required.
Travel
- Minimal travel required.
