Job Description
Opportunity: Lead – Data Science
What you’ll do on the job:
- Manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists.
- Setup framework, and processes in which machine learning model are designed and deployed in a software application.
- Performing data quality checks for quality assurance
- Build data pipelines to supply quality data to machine learning models in production environment.
- Conducts studies to provide additional facts needed to make informed decisions for organizational and functional business opportunities.
- Test performance of data-driven products, visualize data and create reports.
- Experiment with new models and techniques and ensure alignment of data projects with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Who’ll be a good fit:
- Proven working experience of 5+ years as a Data Scientist and managed a team of data specialists.
- Strong in mathematics - statistics, probability, linear algebra, time series.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and data wrangling using SQL (Structured Query Language).
- Familiar with tools such as Jupyter, TensorFlow, Python, Azure ML, MS SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of applied machine learning techniques such as regression, clustering, and forecasting of time-series data.
- Familiarity with all aspects of the analytical cycle such as data wrangling and visualization, feature engineering, and model building.
- Exposure to cloud technology is a must have skill (Azure).
- Excellent critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills.
