Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Senior Snowflake Consultant. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in Snowflake data warehousing, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. This position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and administer Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, transformation, and cleaning to ensure high-quality data for reporting and analytics.
  • Conduct requirement analysis, data architecture design, and systems integration to meet client needs.
  • Implement database design and development practices, ensuring system scalability and performance.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues, leveraging advanced SQL techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ETL processes and tools.
  • Provide expertise in cloud data warehousing, particularly in Snowflake, ensuring best practices in data modeling and architecture.
  • Support the creation of robust data pipelines and assist in integrating DevOps practices within the data architecture.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members while promoting the adoption of agile methodologies.

Requirements for the role 

  • Proven expertise in SQL with extensive experience in complex database queries and optimizations.
  • Strong experience working with Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of systems architecture, database design, and DB application development.
  • Deep understanding of ETL concepts and proficiency with ETL tools.
  • Solid understanding of database performance tuning and how to apply these techniques to ensure high-performance systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automating tasks and enhancing data workflows.
  • Strong grasp of cloud data warehousing, particularly with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and experience in applying them within complex data environments.
  • Good understanding of agile methodology and its practical application in data projects.
  • Experience with DevOps practices as they relate to data infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and database administration.
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
