The AI Centre of Excellence within the Business Information Systems (BIS) function is seeking a dynamic AI Transformation Lead who will bridge the gap between business strategy and AI-driven innovation. The BIS AI Transformation Lead will act as a thought AI tech lead  and expert, responsible for assessing business needs and proposing state-of-the-art technical pathways to deliver on business needs. This role will work closely with various stakeholders, including e-compliance, computer system validation, infrastructure, architecture, use case lead, and business stakeholders.
 

As part of our AI COE within BIS, you will collaborate with scientists, engineers, external partners and business stakeholders to drive AI use case execution across multiple verticals. From defining tech pathways to address certain business need to ensuring compliance, infrastructure, security, and legal aspects are accounted for, you will collaborate with relevant BIS business area lead ensuring AI solutions are not just built but are impactful, scalable, and business-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Translation of Business need

  • Act as a thought AI tech lead & expert in assessing business needs (use cases) and proposing state of the art technical pathways (build vs buy) to accomplish business needs.
  • Understand pain points and opportunities (build vs buy) for AI finding ways forward to deliver. Translate business challenges into clear, actionable technical requirements.

AI Project (s) Execution

  • Lead tech delivery for assigned use cases and act as point of coordination between many different teams within AI COE (i.e., data, enginering, infrastructure, architecture, eCompliance, legal, external partners, etc.
  • In collaboration with relevant BIS business area leads, ensure that AI solutions are delivered within agreed timeline, scope & budget and are user-friendly, impactful, and seamlessly integrated.

Safe and Secure use of AI

  • Work closely with the BIS AI Governance Lead and other stakeholders from legal, e-compliance, security, infrastructure etc. to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory and security standards.

Capability Roadmap

  • Support BIS AI CoE Lead to build & deliver AI capability roadmap and it’s utilization in delivering business needs
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring smooth adoption and integration.
  • Advocate for AI best practices while balancing business needs and technical feasibility.

Transversal Collaboration & Communication

  • Drive stakeholder engagement in a collaborative manner, ensuring clear & transparent communication
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure adoption and integration.
  • Advocate for AI best practices while balancing business needs and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing innovative technologies such as (Gen)AI, ML, Advanced Analytics, or a related field, Experience working in regulated environments with AI models in production.
  • Skills: Strong Business Analysis & Project Management expertise, Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong ability to translate business needs into technical pathways, strong understanding of GenAI, ML, data pipelines, cloud-based AI platforms and their applications.
