Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. Position: Data Engineer - Summer Trainee (Wroclaw) 
Duration: 3 months 
Location: Poland, Wroclaw 
Date: 1.07.2025-30.09.2025 
Education Recommendations: Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics and similar

You will join the Applications Development team, which is a part of the Network & Performance Engineering department. We are developing advanced product intelligence and knowledge engineering systems, which operate on vast amounts of data and are used by thousands of Nokia employees worldwide. As a member of an Agile team, you will be involved in the software development of our web applications supporting the Nokia product's evolution. 

Our team provides in-depth detailed of worldwide telecommunications networks. As a Data Engineering Summer Trainee, you will have a role in crafting the knowledge from raw data and creating insights about the future of the telecom industry. 

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work in data science team focused on analysis of telecom networks data and knowledge
  • Cooperate with data scientists and data engineers to create data processing pipelines 

You have:

  • Active student status 
  • Good English,  both spoken and written
  • Ready to work full-time during the summertime 
  • Experience in Python programming,
  • Knowledge in data engineering area
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • High passion for data, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of large language models or natural language processing
