Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Role Overview  

The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will generate valuable insights for our global user acquisition, engagement and brand, promotion and pricing strategies.  Your role will be fundamental in supporting our paid advertising channels (Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, affiliates, influencers and others) as well as analysing the impact of pricing and promotional activities.  You will gather and analyse relevant data across various sources and produce accurate and insightful reports and recommendations. You will guide Data Engineers in selecting the right data reporting structures and models for our marketing efforts, interpret marketing campaign and commercial data, identify trends and make recommendations.

You will be upgrading our marketing data insights and reporting, answering requests from business stakeholders and investigating new opportunities for adding value. You will communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people and drive critical business decisions. 

The Employee will report to the Head of Product Analytics but be fully dedicated to the Marketing team.  

 

High Level Responsibilities 

  • Generate valuable insights for digital marketing, pricing and promotions strategies in order to scale and increase revenue 
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, providing needs and specifications for building data collection, data reporting and data visualization structures 
  • Provide thorough data analysis on the impact of marketing performance and investments, establishing new KPIs which are underpinned by sound commercial outcomes. 
  • Provide thorough analysis of the impact of price and promotional experiments, gathering data and providing clear results.  
  • Work closely with colleagues across relevant departments to share trends and highlight commercial improvements across the customer journey  
  • Compile and consolidate data insights and outcomes into actionable items, reports and presentations

Skills and Competencies 

  • Proven experience in analyzing B2C marketing campaigns in terms of performance (including ROI, ROAS, CAC/LTV and other campaign KPIs) 
  • Solid experience with mobile app-subscription business models 
  • Experience working with BI tools  
  • Proficiency in mobile and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google PlayConsole, App Store Connect, etc.) as well as an MMP (Singular preferred). 
  • Knowledge of specific tools for data analysis, like Big Query, Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar 
  • Ability to analyse and apply critical thinking to marketing, pricing and promotional initiatives taking into account immediate revenue impact and future renewal rates  
  • Experience of attribution modelling a plus 
  • Strong ability to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner using a variety of media and formats, be persuasive and convincing in front of a challenging audience  
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills  
  • Ambition and drive for quality and results   
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple workflows and stakeholders  
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, competing priorities and a wide variety of cultures and local markets differences 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Qualifications  

 

Degree or equivalent preferred in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field
