Legal Data Analyst

Overview

The paralegal will support the legal department. 

Responsibilities

Position Purpose:  The paralegal will support the legal department. 

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

• Coordinating document retrieval and productions under the supervision of supervising attorneys; 
• Preparing draft pleadings, cover letters, litigation hold notices; 
• Maintaining familiarity with witness files; and
• Organizing and maintaining documentation for case management matters and advising attorneys of status dates and changes.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
• This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary.
• Ability to Multi-Task and keep tabs on multiple matters and update attorneys accordingly.
• Maintain Multiple Databases. Familiarity with Excel Pivot Tables Preferred.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 or more years of experience as a paralegal
• Experience with litigation database management tool Relativity
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced/deadline-driven environment while paying close attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changes in work-flow
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Experience in legal research and working knowledge of Westlaw or LexisNexis
• Experience retrieving and producing documents
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Dependable team player with strong interpersonal skills
