What You Will Do 

The position is responsible for:

The Sales Analytics manager is responsible for overseeing projects, and analytics processes to transform source data into analytic results, supporting the Customer Development team with appropriate information and insights, and providing analysis and guidance to the executive management team.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative sales analytics strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing, & Market Research) to improve sales performance, optimize spending and identify opportunities for growth acceleration
  • Analyze market trends, utilize market research and external databases to provide actionable insights to sales and marketing management for growth
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to forecast sales trends and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner
  • Coordinate special projects to address specific Brand, Channel & Geography level requirements in sales analytics
  • Define performance metrics, reporting processes, and tracking approaches

What We Are Looking For

 

Required Qualifications

  • MBA from a reputed institute/ Master’s degree in Data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in data analytics, data management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and structured analysis
  • High level of computer literacy and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex projects
  • Ability to work in uncertain and ambiguous circumstances with incomplete information
  • Experience in FMCG industry is a strong preference.

  • Project management experience
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with management
