Working Student Cloud Data Engineer (DWH) d/f/m

To start as soon as possible, part time (max. 20 hours / week), fixed term (6+ months)

We are supporting our Risk business with all reporting requirements they have. To ensure proper reporting we are using the Microstrategy BI Suite as well as making use of Power BI for our Credit Risk reporting. Besides the risk reporting focus we also develop our own applications to support special requirements like PnL or Counterparty risk calculations, using a wide range of interesting technologies, like .Net core, Snowflake, AWS Cloud services, with focus on Python and Typescript.

​About the role

• Develop and maintain ELT/ETL processing pipelines for batch and near-real-time data in Snowflake / AWS.
• Occasional opportunities to enhance your Python programming skills through practical project involvement.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to coding standards and governance guidelines.
• Collaborate closely within an agile, international IT team spread across Germany, the UK, Slovakia, and the USA.
• Problem Solving / Decision-Making: Be able to explain and demonstrate experience of applying various problem solving and decision-making techniques.

Job requirements and experience

• You are enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
• Good communication techniques and self organising skills.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work with additional technologies.
• Advantageous, but not essential
• Working experience with Microsoft.Net Environment and SQL-Server.
