What You'll Be Responsible For

As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will own the execution of sophisticated, high-impact programs that support infrastructure, governance, and product development. You will collaborate closely with senior engineering, product, compliance, and external partners to drive central initiatives, ensuring the successful launch and scaling of key progress. This role offers a chance to craft foundational infrastructure, establish standard methodologies, and influence technical strategy at scale.

What You'll Work On

  • Drive large-scale, cross-functional programs, including network governance, compliance integrations, and strategic infrastructure initiatives.

  • Define and complete program strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and long-term vision.

  • Oversee the onboarding and integration of financial institutions, collaborating with engineering and compliance teams to establish scalable processes.

  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape technical roadmaps, optimize program execution, and remove blockers.

  • Engage with compliance and regulatory teams to define and embed robust security and enforcement mechanisms.

  • Serve as a key liaison for external partners, ensuring seamless technical integration, compliance adherence, and performance optimization.

  • Provide executive-level program updates, surfacing key risks, trade-offs, and strategic insights.

  • Develop and improve program documentation, dashboards, and metrics for tracking adoption, performance, and system reliability.

  • Implement and drive continuous process improvements to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Bring to Circle

Core Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management within FinTech, blockchain, or enterprise software.

  • Proven track record of leading sophisticated, multi-stakeholder programs with significant technical and business impact.

  • Deep understanding of financial infrastructure, compliance frameworks, and governance mechanisms.

  • Expertise in managing APIs, developer platforms, and large-scale system integrations.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience engaging executive stakeholders.

  • Ability to drive alignment across engineering, product, compliance, and external partners.

  • Extensive experience with agile methodologies, Jira, and advanced program tracking tools.

Preferred Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and multi-chain ecosystems.

  • Experience working with regulated financial institutions on compliance and security frameworks.

  • Strong technical background in payments infrastructure, APIs, or large-scale financial transaction processing.

  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

  • Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and crafting effective prompts
