Power BI Developer - Gdansk or Viby

Located in Viby or Gdansk, you will be part of the Commercial Agile Release Train (ART) within the IT Solutions department.  More specifically you will be part of our Analytics team, who’s main focus is to deliver insightful reports for internal use, that can monitor progress and create transparency of our customer funnel within the Commercial area.

You will be working in a scaled agile setup (SAFe) with cross functional agile teams with colleagues from IT Solutions, our European business zone and external consultants in an international setup. We strongly believe in agile ways of working, frequent deliveries, focus on business value and empowerment.

How you will make an impact

As an Experienced Power BI Developer, you will take responsibility for creating new reporting solutions or enhancing existing ones based on business requirements.

Your work will include understanding requirements, presenting ideas and creating effective user-oriented  Power BI dashboards and reports. Your work will involve close collaboration with Solution Architects, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts from the business domain.

Moreover, you will:

• Develop data models, transformations and ETL processes for accurate and reliable data in Power BI
• Design visually appealing and interactive reports, dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and KPIs
• Enhancing existing solutions for improved performance
• Test, troubleshoot and resolve data or technical issues
• Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices

What will make you successful

First and foremost, we are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about leveraging the power of data visualizations. You should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence or a similar field.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Strong understanding of Power BI capabilities, including DAX expressions and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power Query.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Good knowledge of M language, data modeling techniques, and best practices.
• Understanding of UX principles for reporting design.
