Job Description

As a Platform Engineer Data Integration, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop and maintain the Kafka Integration software infrastructure.
• Ensure reliable and secure transmission of trusted investment reports.
• Oversee daily trade settlements through the integration platform.
• Facilitate business-level synchronization of various databases.
• Optimize and troubleshoot the Kafka infrastructure for high performance.
• Collaborate with teams to implement data integration needs.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for Kafka integration processes.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Possess extensive experience in Java and Kubernetes, particularly in integration tasks.
• Have proven experience with Kafka platform operations.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are an advantage.
• Demonstrate kindness and active, empathetic communication skills.
• Exhibit great attention to detail and possess a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Maintain a can-do attitude and a joy of learning.
