Corporate Banking is a technology-centric business, with an increasing focus on real-time processing and customer demand for integrated systems and access to supporting data. Joining the team provides a unique opportunity to help rebuild the core of some of our most mission-critical processing systems from the ground up.

As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining data solutions that support Risk & Controls management. You’ll use modern data engineering tools, scripting languages, and relational databases to create automations, develop dashboards, and deliver insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain automations and data pipelines to support compliance of key controls

  • Use tools like Pentaho, relational databases, and scripting languages to ingest, transform, and manage data

  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualization frameworks for controls compliance and reporting

  • Create forecast models and analytical solutions to evaluate compliance trends

  • Design and implement interfaces to various control systems for seamless data integration

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions for improving risk management processes

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience with data engineering tools such as Pentaho, Looker, or similar platforms

  • Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau or Looker

  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)

  • Ability to analyze and report on Information Security and Information Technology controls

  • Background in risk management, technology audit, or related fields

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving problems

  • Understanding of Information Security (IS) and Information Technology (IT) control design

  • Familiarity with tools for workflow automation (e.g., JIRA scripting, ServiceNow application programming interface (API))

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Powershell or similar

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.  Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.  Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
