About Team and Platform
Data and Reporting platform is a cross product for client reporting and downstream applications. It provides reports (e.g., real-time trades, positions, Initial and Variation Margin, Positions and Balances, internal reporting, downstream data feeds, etc.) for external and internal clients. A major ongoing initiative is to modernize a scalable data and reporting platform to enhance product offerings and new business requirements.
Citi Futures and OTC Clearing Technology supports a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. Working closely with the business, external vendors, and internal technology teams, you would manage complex projects that will involve everything from incorporating a new functionality within the existing ecosystem, to analyzing new requirements, documenting solutions, managing implementation, and testing systems, ensuring that they are fit for purpose.
What you will do:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction to align with business goals.
Backlog & Feature Management: Own and manage product backlog, define clear user stories, and prioritize features based on business value and impact.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between business users, development teams, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on product and business needs.
Agile and Scrum Leadership: Represent business needs in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives.
Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure business and product solutions adhere to regulatory, compliance, and internal control requirements.
Documentation & Communication: Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories to support development teams.
User Testing and Implementation: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solutions, and ensure a smooth rollout of new feature and process changes.
Regular Updates & Insights: Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities to ensure transparency and alignment.
Backlog Ownership & prioritization: Maintain the product backlog and facilitate prioritization discussions with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Negotiation & Priority Management: Negotiate and manage project priorities based on business needs, resource availability, and technical feasibility to ensure optimal delivery.
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process optimizations for better functional efficiency.
What we will need from you:
Strong experience in product manager with a proven track record of success for planning and delivery
Significant years of experience in driving product development, managing stakeholders and development teams on business/technical acumen and implementation solutions aligned with project objectives
Solid understanding in web/Java application and database development and solution architecture design
Strong leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a tech/development team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management.
Strong negotiation skills to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
Familiarity with the project management and agile scrum methodologies with best practice
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and large global teams and lead multiple activities and build/develop working relationships.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel etc) and passion in data analysis.
Proven ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques and execute test plan.
Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills to partner and influence across organizational lines
Demonstrated ability to be work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with proactive, decisiveness and flexibility.
Scrum Master or PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) required or working towards it.
Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Business and Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience in web/Java application and database development
Master's degree preferred.
Understanding of trade lifecycle & trading systems and trade clearing and execution.
Familiarity with Product design and delivery process.
