We’re looking for a C++ Software Engineer with AI integrations experience to join our Augmented Reality team! 

What you’ll do:

• Design and develop features in C++ for Snapchat’s AR engine and authoring tools

• Integrate AI-powered productivity tools that give every creator an expert at their fingertips 

• Participate in roadmap planning and creating technical specifications

• Stay current with state-of-the-art multi-agent systems and LLMs to continuously improve our products

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong computer science fundamentals

• Advanced knowledge of C++ and experience with modern C++

• Great communication skills; ability to work in a team and lead by example

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in a technical field or equivalent years of experience

• 2+ years of industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Python

• Langchain / langraph / langflow /  or similar

• Multi-agent LLM systems / autogen / crew.ai or similar

• Experience with vector dbs

• Pytorch / tensorflow / kerra  or similar

• Experience with a 3D rendering engine like Unity or Unreal

• Knowledge of Qt framework

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.

 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
