The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for managing client relationships while delivering comprehensive data analysis, reporting solutions, and actionable insights across various paid media and advertising platforms. This role combines technical expertise with strong client-facing abilities, requiring someone who can independently handle both the technical implementation and strategic communication aspects of the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives

    • Lead client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating complex data insights in accessible terms

    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client performance and satisfaction

  • Paid Media Analysis & Reporting

    • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions across multiple paid media platforms

    • Extract, transform, and analyze campaign performance data to drive optimization recommendations

    • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate media performance metrics

    • Connect paid media performance to on-site behaviors and conversion activities

  • Platform Expertise

    • Maintain deep knowledge of major paid media platforms, their data structures, and reporting capabilities

    • Proficient with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Analytics for integrated customer journey analysis

    • Ability to connect paid media data with web analytics data to provide holistic performance insights

    • Stay current with platform updates, new features, and best practices

  • Technical Implementation

    • Build and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing of advertising data

    • Implement tracking solutions and ensure proper data collection across paid media and web touchpoints

    • Develop custom scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and enhance reporting capabilities

    • Configure platform integrations to create unified reporting views across the customer journey

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or R for data manipulation and analysis

  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Analytics

  • Hands-on experience with major paid media platforms and their APIs (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries

  • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple client relationships

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy

  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, preferably in an agency environment with a focus on paid media

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working with financial institutions and understanding their unique regulatory and compliance requirements

  • Knowledge of financial services marketing regulations and privacy considerations

  • Experience with data cleanroom environments (Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google Ads Data Hub, LiveRamp)

  • Knowledge of tag management systems (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch)

  • Familiarity with cross-channel attribution models and multi-touch conversion analysis

  • Experience with identity resolution and audience management platforms

  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment design for paid media

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data processing

  • Experience with privacy-compliant data collection practices in a cookieless environment

The salary range for this position is $65k-$75k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
