Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Visualization Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our IT Talent Enablement team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, generating insights, and creating clear and concise reports using Power BI. You will play a critical role in providing valuable data-driven insights to support the workforce planning process across our IT organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical skills in Power BI, and a passion for data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Workforce Planning team to understand and analyze workforce plans, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Design, develop, and maintain workforce planning dashboards and reports using Power BI to translate workforce plans into actionable insights.

  • Conduct regular data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the dashboards.

  • Handle large datasets and utilize tools and techniques to clean, transform, and merge data from various sources.

  • Create data visualizations to effectively communicate workforce strategy and planning insights to IT area stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with IT area teams to ensure alignment between workforce plans and other business strategies.

  • Identify and recommend improvements to workforce planning processes and methodologies based on data analysis.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data analytics to drive continuous improvement in reporting and analysis capabilities.

  • Provide training and support to Workforce Planning Leads and stakeholders on how to effectively utilize Power BI for workforce analysis.

Qualifications Required

  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools, particularly Power BI.

  • Strong background in business intelligence (BI) and data analytics.

  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical concepts.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data structures.

  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to be adaptable to a dynamic work environment where priorities and requirements may change.

  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability in managing data projects.

  • Commitment to execution excellence in delivering high-quality reports and dashboards.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective networking and partnerships within the organization.

  • Business savviness to understand and align with organizational objectives.

  • Strong decision-making skills based on data-driven insights.
