You know how to team with peers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on shared services performance. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:

• Provide analyses of data, ensuring effective and consistent operation across a growing shared services organization. 

• Utilize multiple systems to query, export, manipulate and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement of process or operation.

• Develop and maintain dashboards to efficiently communicate operational status to leaders.

• Support standardization of analytic processes by developing and maintaining documentation for system data as well as standard procedures to support a wide array of users. 

• Ensure personal and sensitive information remains confidential and protected in line with the organizations data privacy requirements.

You Have: 

• 2+ years of experience with data analysis on both structured and unstructured data

• Experience with data visualization techniques and tools

• Experience communicating and presenting analyses

• Experience with Service Now, Databricks, Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel or VBA

• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them to datasets

• Ability to work with large volumes of information and develop recommendations

• HS diploma or GED 

Nice If You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience performing data analysis

• Experience with automating manual analysis tasks, including building data pipelines, routinized code, or real-time dashboards

• Experience creating analytical process documentation like data catalogues or data dictionaries

• Experience with predictive modeling or Natural Language Processing 

• Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics module

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Data Visualization, Data Analytics, or SQL credentials

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
