  • Onboard new business-critical data sets and integrate them into the firmwide Blackstone data platform.

  • Generate analysis, data visualizations, and automated reporting to drive business initiatives.

  • Promote and cultivate a culture of data analytics, science, and AI within the firm, including leading talks and training sessions for both technology and business teams.

  • Conduct business analysis with various teams across the firm, focusing on our Real Estate business to drive efficient underwriting, asset, and portfolio management. This will also involve coordinating with a broader technology organization comprising product owners, application developers, and UX designers.

  • Lead multiple projects, mentor and delegate tasks to junior members of the team, and collaborate effectively with other technology teams.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a data analysis, data science or engineering role, with fluency in Python and SQL for interacting with data and data warehouses.

  • Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm, with a preference for alternative asset management and/or real estate.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.

  • Proficiency in developing within proper software development lifecycle tools, such as version control, CI/CD tools, and cloud deployment technologies.

  • Skilled in using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate to both business and technical coworkers, and to author documentation appropriate for the user community, development teams, and upper management.

  • Ability to clearly define project scope and manage and communicate scope changes.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and raise issues in a timely and productive fashion.
