What you'll do...
We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in distributed systems to join our team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex, scalable applications across both the back-end and front-end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy solutions that meet the needs of our growing business while ensuring high availability and performance
About Team:
Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do:
- Implementing Designs: Work closely with UX designers to transform mockups and wireframes into functional web pages or applications.
- Developing User Interfaces: Responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using ReactJS, Redux, XpressJs Node, NPM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs, micro services and components using technologies like Python, Java Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Participate in medium-scale projects with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend systems, including API integration.
- Design scalable and fault tolerant microservices and loosely coupled services using real-time message processing
- Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Track, Analyze and provide guidance to the team for resolving Critical Tech Debts.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and supporting complex systems using Java and Python, with proficiency in Javascript/Typescript languages.
- Strong algorithmic skills, experience with data structures such as Graphs and Trees, and data manipulation with libraries like pandas and polars.
- Experience in responsive frameworks like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Material UI and React.
- Integrating and customizing charts in UI components using ReactJS
- Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Fast API and Flask and libraries like pandas, polars.
- Familiarity with UI technologies like HTML5, NodeJS, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap.
- 3-5 years of experience in database management, including Relational (Azure SQL Server, Postgres) and Cloud storage.
- 3-5 years of experience with GCP. specifically in BQ, Google Storage and pub-sub .
- Added advantage Having coding skills in Spring Boot frameworks is essential for developing back-end applications.
- Experience with microservices architectures, event-based architecture (Kafka), Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring and alerting tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Proficient in CI/CD practices, with familiarity in test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working in a KPI-driven, highly agile environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
