Job Overview

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer who is experienced enough to be able to create a modern and scalable end-to-end application. As a Fullstack Engineer, you are expected to:

• Work within a cross-functional team which takes end-to-end ownership and responsibility and contributes to the full life cycle of the application, from discovery, implementation, up until it is deployed in production, including monitoring, issue / bug fixing and continuous improvements.
• Possess ING’s Orange Code wherein you help others to be successful by providing support or being a mentor to your colleagues, you take it on and  make it happen by your willingness to proactively take on tasks and assume responsibilities, and you’re always a step ahead by thinking out of the box and being open in communicating with the team your thoughts, ideas, and/or concerns.
• Have a great learning attitude, not just with technologies but on interpersonal level – you are always challenging yourself to be better.

Minimum Qualifications 

·       Web Development:

o   JavaScript, HTML, CSS

o   ReactJS

o   Web Components (e.g. LitElement)

o   W3C Standards and Features

·       Backend Development:

o   RESTful API Development

o   Secure Coding Concepts – different authorization and authentication mechanisms, use of JWT, etc

o   Statically Typed Languages (Golang /Scala/Kotlin/Java)

·       Functional Testing – unit test, integration test

·       Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications (preferably Docker and Kubernetes, but any other tech will do)

·       Working knowledge on different deployment architectures in public/private cloud (on-premise vs containers vs serverless)

Preferred Qualifications 

• Curious mindset; you are collaborative and passionate about helping others to grow and improve. 
• Experience with deployment and provisioning automation tools. 
• Experience with monitoring and observability (ELK stack). 
• Knowledge of MLOps architecture and practices. 
• Knowledge of data manipulation and transformation.
