SUMMARY
We are seeking a Customer Data Product Owner to lead the development, management, and optimization of customer master data as a product, ensuring it delivers high-quality, structured, unified, and actionable customer insights across the enterprise. This role will define the customer data roadmap, enhance data quality and integration, and enable self-service access to trusted customer data. If you reside within 30 miles of an Avetta office, you will follow a hybrid work schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and manage the Customer Data Product, ensuring scalable, high-quality, and enriched customer data across systems.
• Lead the implementation of real-time and batch customer data pipelines, ensuring up-to-date, high-quality data availability in BI and analytics platforms.
• Partner with Data Engineering to design modern customer data architecture.
• Implement automated data cleansing, enrichment, and real-time synchronization, ensuring customer data is accurate, complete, and actionable.
• Build self-service access to trusted customer data, enabling Finance, GTM, and Customer Success teams to leverage high-quality customer insights for analytics and decision-making.
• Define and manage the Customer Data Product roadmap, aligning with business needs for customer segmentation, sales analytics, financial reporting, and customer success.
• Enable dynamic customer hierarchies, entity resolution, and data enrichment, ensuring complete and accurate customer records.
• Define and track customer data quality KPIs, measuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. Lead customer data standardization, de-duplication, and validation initiatives.
• Proven ability to define data quality KPIs, implement data cleansing pipelines, and manage customer data enrichment.
• Deliver self-service customer data access through Power BI dashboards, Snowflake views, and APIs, enabling business teams to leverage high-quality customer data.
• Proven ability to break down complex requirements, develop actionable strategies, and deliver results.
• Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to ensure customer data is optimized for revenue analytics, pipeline forecasting, and retention modeling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of experience in Data Product Management, Master Data, or Data Quality with a focus on customer data.
• Strong expertise in customer data modeling, entity resolution, and data quality automation.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with teams across Finance, Go To Market, Customer Success, Operations, and IT.
• Experience working with Snowflake, SQL, and Power BI (dbt a plus).
IDEAL EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The salary range for this position is $87,500 - $224,000 per year, with bonus eligibility.
