Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance Framework Development: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures data quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
  • Master Data Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of a master data management architecture that ensures the consistency and integrity of critical business data (e.g., customer, product, financial data).
  • · Master Data Management (MDM) Strategy: Define and manage the MDM strategy and processes, ensuring that master data is centralized, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
  • Data Quality and Consistency: Establish data quality metrics, KPIs, and standards to monitor and ensure the consistency and integrity of master data across all systems.
  • Metadata Management: Implement and maintain metadata management practices that support data traceability, governance, and accessibility.
  • Data Stewardship: Work closely with data stewards and business units to define data ownership, responsibilities, and governance roles for master data entities.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that data governance practices, particularly related to master data, adhere to regulatory standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and other industry-specific requirements.
  • Integration of Master Data Systems: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate master data across the organization’s enterprise applications and ensure that the integration supports business processes.
  • Data Access and Security: Define data access protocols, security measures, and privacy policies to safeguard sensitive and critical master data.
  • Data Governance Policies and Standards: Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards for managing master data across departments.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams (business leaders, IT, compliance) to align data governance and master data management strategies with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and improve data governance and master data management processes to drive business value, address challenges, and adopt emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  5–8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or master data management.
