Reporting Relationships and Contacts
Reports to: Manager, Supply Chain Systems
Relationships: Business Technology, Safety, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Cultivation, Operations, Customer Service and Logistics, Maintenance, Finance, Sales and Marketing
Scope of Role:
Power BI & Data Analytics
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to support supply chain planning, inventory, and production operations.
- Develop and optimize DAX measures and Power Query transformations for efficient and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance metrics (KPIs) and automate reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports, dashboards, and ERP data sources.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and troubleshooting of data discrepancies to enhance decision-making.
- Support supply chain optimization projects by leveraging data to drive operational efficiencies.
Master Data Management
- Oversee and maintain master data within SNDL’s ERP system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate and coordinate between cross functional teams on Master Data structure changes to better serve the business.
- Work with the Master Data team to manage and validate product, vendor, and customer data.
- Support data governance initiatives, including naming conventions, hierarchical structures, and data validation controls.
- Conduct periodic data audits to identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in ERP system updates, enhancements, and process improvements related to master data, supply chain and reporting.
ERP System Management
- Assist in system implementations, upgrades, and data migration efforts, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
- Assist in ERP system updates, enhancements, and process improvements related to master data, supply chain, and reporting.
- Serve as the link between analytics, master data, and ERP teams, ensuring alignment between reporting and business needs.
- Collaborate and execute system integrations, reporting automation, and ERP enhancements.
- Develop training materials and documentation on best practices and processes.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related data issues and work with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems and master data management.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, report optimization).
- Strong Excel skills for data validation and transformation.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and ensure high data integrity.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Experience in SQL and data connectors for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). - very nice to have!
- Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, Python).
- Background in Statistics for advanced data analysis and forecasting.
- APICS CPIM certification (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or equivalent supply chain certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
