We are looking for an Application and Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. In this role, you will partner with our manufacturing and design teams to optimize and develop applications. This role is essential for our team as they create and build innovative world-class playgrounds. As an Applications and Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in bringing fun and inclusive playgrounds to life.  

The Role

As the Application and Business Intelligence Developer, you will perform coding, debugging, testing, configuration, and analysis to develop or modify application programs and websites.  Includes mobile application development projects, ERP customizations and business intelligence applications for key performance indicator reporting. 

Areas of focus include: 

• Partner with other departments and staff to conduct analysis of functional and technical requirements to create necessary specifications for new applications and changes to existing ones.  
• Utilize a variety of programming, scripting, and database languages to produce efficient code and produce application documentation, process diagrams, and data flow diagrams.  
• Provide support for implementing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining applications.
• Partner cross-functionally, demonstrating ability to manage their priorities and effectively manage projects to completion with communication to the requestor and users who requested the project.

Qualifications that Move Us!

• Bachelor or Associate's degree (A. A.) in related field or equivalent from a 4 year or two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or      training
• At least 4 years of experience 
• Programming/Scripting Languages Required – SQL, PowerShell, Visual Basic, C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with Visual Studio, SSDT, SSMS
• Experience with Epicor or equivalent ERP application 
• Experience with Power BI, or other business intelligence applications
• Understand and know how to calculate common business ratios and Key Performance Indicators to be reported in the BI tool
• Ability to discuss requested KPI’s with management, including frequency, delivery method, Good inter-personal communications skills in order to facilitate requirement gathering, troubleshooting, and support duties.
• Ability to document the design of the application, present the design to management and users to ensure design matches needs prior to programming
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and help files/instructional documents
• Be able to adapt to new situations and find creative solutions to problems
• Ability to gather requirements from users and design technology solutions to meet their needs
• Demonstrate the user interfaces and applications use and train users to utilize the applications developed
• Manage priorities and communicate with direct supervisor to get guidance on order of tasks and any deadlines that will be missed
• Provide estimates on the length of time and level of effort required to complete the development and programming of request.
