Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing Reporting:

  • Partner with GTM management to create department-level monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and marketing reports
  • Analyze and report on key sales and marketing metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly QBR (Quarterly Business Review) decks, ensuring accuracy and relevance of the data presented

Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies through automation
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to manage and optimize reporting tools such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Tableau

Salesforce (SFDC) Responsibilities:

  • Oversee non-standard quote approvals, requiring detailed analysis to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene by ensuring data integrity and consistency across the platform
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries and issues, working closely with IT to resolve them

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Manage Tableau dashboards and reports, working closely with IT to ensure they meet the needs of the business
  • Provide ad-hoc sales and marketing analysis as required, delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Distil large amounts of data into key findings that are easily understood by stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment on data needs and reporting requirements
  • Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Foster strong relationships with GTM leaders to understand their needs and provide tailored analytical support

Skills/Requirements:

  • Education:   BA/BS in Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience: 5-10 years of data-related experience with a record of strong achievement
  • Technical Skills:   Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Prior experience with Salesforce (SFDC), Tableau, Adaptive Planning, and Oracle is preferred
  • Analytical Skills:  Ability to distill large amounts of data and summarize key findings.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Communication Skills:   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Other Requirements:    Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to complete projects in tight time frames with minimal supervision.   A team player who enjoys collaborating with people from different functions and backgrounds
