In this role you will be responsible for leading the development of data management systems used to collect, organize, and process business data for sustainability compliance reporting. This role ensures alignment with regulatory frameworks such as CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), and other sustainability reporting requirements, while collaborating closely with sustainability and compliance teams, IT data engineering, Devops team, and business analysts, to deliver value-driven products.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Define the product vision and objectives in alignment with organizational sustainability goals and compliance needs.
- Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring it reflects stakeholder input, regulatory changes, and technical feasibility.
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with sustainability and compliance teams and business units to align the product with reporting expectations.
- Work with Scrum Masters, developers and QA to refine user stories and prioritize sprint tasks in alignment with PI planning
- Provide expertise on data collection, governance, and reporting processes to guide technical design.
- Validate that product functionality meets legal and regulatory requirements while ensuring product compliance with standards such as CBAM, EPR, and other ESG frameworks.
- Define and track KPIs to measure product success, including data accuracy, system performance, and compliance coverage.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- At least 2 years as a Product Owner or similar role in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience with data management systems and compliance reporting tools.
- Proficiency in English language (verbal and written).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe POPM)
- Experience with sustainability-related products or reporting tools
