Role Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic data engineer contractor to support data efforts to optimize paid media investment decisions You will support the development of our media mix models MMMs by working alongside Data Scientists creating an interpretable and scalable solution to recommend optimal investment strategies across marketing channels You will be responsible for providing data engineering support to DS teams by engaging in cleaning transforming providing and ingesting data associated with MMM models and analysis An ideal candidate would be someone with a track record of collaborating with cross teams excellent communication skills and interest in the streaming entertainment industry

Your DaytoDay

Work closely with other data scientists and business intelligence analysts to efficiently structure and create deep dive analyses to address questions from stakeholders

Support regular shareouts by creating visualizations and delivering presentations as needed

Efficiently build datasets and processes to support superior MMM models

Develop Data Quality and Validation processes ensuring data accuracy

Collaborate with data scientists to help productionalize models andor analysis

Come up with superior datafeature sets encapsulating key model features and data points

Deliver data insights at the appropriate level of detail and perform fast followup to feedback

Qualifications

You Have

2 years experience in Data Engineering or Big Data Engineering

Minimum of Bachelors or Masters preferred in Computer Science or similar disciplines with specialization in Big Data or Data Engineering and Analytics or related specializations

Proficiency in Data manipulation and ETLELT techniques

Experience working with Orchestration tools like Airflow Dagster etc

Experience working with Cloud infrastructure like GCP Snowflake AWS etc

Have experience in data collection aggregation analysis visualization productionalization cleansing transforming and maintenance

The ability to come up with robust code using Python and SQL

Experience with exploratory data analysis using tools like iPython Notebook Pandas matplotlib etc

Communicate concisely and persuasively with engineers data scientists and product managers

Strong penchant for data accuracy and process efficiency

Familiar with version control systems Git BitBucket

Must successfully pass a background check
