The Role

Have you just completed a degree in Mathematics, Data or Computer Science (AI/ML)? Are you interested in TV & Film? Do you want to use your knowledge of AI/ML within several different departments, looking for ways to integrate AI or automation? Are you curious about technology? If your answer is yes to these questions, then this role is for you.

We are looking for a graduate of AI/ML courses to join Fremantle and help drive change within our international production company. You will get to know how the business operates and work closely with a range of internal stakeholders.

These are exciting new roles within Fremantle, as we look to increase our expertise in the areas of AI/ML and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside Fremantle UK production labels to identify opportunities for AI Integration.
• Test AI tools and solutions to determine their effectiveness and integration potential within Fremantle UK.
• Drafting proposals for AI solutions based on initial assessment of labels. Providing detail around projected impact, timelines on implementation, scalability and potential cost implications
• Creating detailed documentation for AI models, algorithms, and processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility
• Leverage Generative AI tools and GPTs to educate and empower business units on their effective use
• Identify repetitive tasks, gather feedback from the business on ways to create efficiencies through automations
• Building automations through MS Power Automate and providing ongoing support and improvements
• Generate reports on the performance and impact of AI and automation initiatives for stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and automation technologies and applying them to current projects
• Connecting FMUK to the Central Fremantle AI team

Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualification in a field related to data analysis, statistics, mathematics or computer science
• A positive and pro-active individual with a can-do attitude
• Technologically curious and eager to learn
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently to provide analytical solutions to business problems, with tight deadlines in a busy department.
• Proficiency with a programming language such as Python, R or SQL, as well as Gen AI tools and GPTs
• Strong analytical, thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of dashboarding tools such Power BI or Tableau

• Good technical understanding of data structures.
• Experience using MS Power Automate and Microsoft Office 365
• A keen interest in TV
