The SMD of Data Management is responsible for establishing and overseeing the enterprise-wide data governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving data quality, integrity, and accessibility through cross-enterprise engagement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and related standards.
Establish and maintain the Enterprise Data Governance Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and strategic objectives.
Define and enforce data quality standards for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
Collaborate with the Head of Data Technologies to drive responsible adoption of the cloud-based data platform.
Lead the implementation of Data Management framework, including engagement with stakeholders across all LOBs to ensure comprehensive adoption of new requirements.
Education, Experience and Skills:
15+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, or financial data operations in a banking environment.
Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to data management.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks, including data quality controls and governance committees.
Experience influencing a large, complex, cross-functional stakeholder group to adhere to new requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $225,000 USD to $250,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
