About the Role
The Service Insights and Analytics team within Enterprise Service Management (ESM) is dedicated to developing and delivering best-in-class analytical initiatives and outcomes for our IT services customers and colleagues. We focus on providing insights that drive measurable benefits to the bank.
As a Senior Data Analyst within our Service Insights and Analytics team, your role will be to generate insights on the performance and health of the bank’s IT services. You will interpret complex data stores and information models to provide actionable insights. While advanced analytics is a bonus, the primary focus will be on dashboard and reporting skills in ServiceNow and/or Qlik. Additionally, the team supports various tenants on ServiceNow, such as HR, Security, and others.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Developing and maintaining automated reporting (dashboards) to enable the business to track performance of critical metrics more effectively.
- Conducting deep-dive investigations of business hypotheses using analytics, delivering actions to direct business strategy and future work.
- Performing BAU (Business As Usual) reporting to ensure ongoing monitoring and analysis of key metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of the IT service lifecycle through data-driven insights.
- Providing support for various tenants on ServiceNow, including HR, Security, and others.
- Exploring opportunities to grow advanced analytics skills if desired.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience in dashboard and reporting tools such as ServiceNow and/or Qlik.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Ability to interpret complex data stores and information models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Mastery level understanding of how to present and visualise data using the right tools for the right purposes
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management, including ServiceNow data model, the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITIL 4
- Experience in advanced analytics is a plus but not required.
