We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Delivery Lead to interface with our software engineering community and AI/ML engineers. This person will provide the hosting platform for internally developed software solutions and AI/ML models. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in OpenShift and cloud solutions, alongside proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineering and AI/ML teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions and AI/ML models.
• Architect, deploy and manage OpenShift containerization platform.
• Provide services to software engineers to enable rapid deployment of applications including certificate management, DNS, etc.
• Lead the implementation of observability, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps practices.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within the team.
• Mentor and guide team members to achieve their full potential.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of hosting platforms.
• Work with our Engineering Enablement team to define and manage the software engineering toolsets and platforms such as GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Cloudsmith, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.
• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor system performance and availability, responding to incidents and proactively addressing potential issues before they impact users.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the development and deployment environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with 2 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Extensive experience designing, implementing and managing cloud solutions in AWS, Azure or GCP
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of observability, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and supporting software engineers in their usage.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, DataDog, New Relic)
