The Creation Platform mission is to enable innovation to accelerate, expand business value and increase process efficiency, by sharing capabilities transversally across Amadeus business versus purely ‘vertical ‘ product line approach. The Creation Platform is at the core of Amadeus Travel Unit growth strategy.  It connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travelers, with solutions, capabilities, intelligence and content enabling the travel ecosystem of the next generation.

The Data & AI/ML value creation team is composed of a mix of data scientists and data engineers. The team is responsible for enriching the platform content and facilitating the creation of intelligent applications within the Amadeus portfolio.  The first remit is achieved through design and delivery of transversal data assets, which include the ti-tables framework covering Altea data Lakehouse. The creation of intelligent applications is boosted through dedicated incubation resources and Data Science Services where our experts are offered to speed up time-to-market and reduce the initial investment.  Our services can be integrated into any R&D or business team as extra workforce or lead the project until the solution is up and running. 

During this experience

The candidate will work as part of data science team to understand the Amadeus business and to develop technical capabilities such as Machine Learning (ML), deep learning and GenAI to solve real problems and contribute to enhance Amadeus products and solutions. He/she will contribute to translate business goals into analytics use cases, propose, and implement appropriate data science approaches to deliver insights and model. The candidate will particularly learn how the airlines, by adopting new retailing techniques, need to ensure their policies are enforced and their revenue are protected from system misuse and fraudulent behaviors. He/she will go deeply into different misuses categories to understand the behavior and apply anomaly detection approaches and explainability to detect/explain new patterns of frauds/misuses that could end up with airline revenue loss leveraging machine learning/GenAI techniques. The candidate will also write technical reports and present the results to different stakeholders.

The ideal candidate

Pursing the final year of engineer diploma or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning and has a good level of proficiency in English. The candidate should be above all eager to learn and be autonomy, in addition to a good academic record. Here are a list of skills and knowledge that an ideal candidate should possess:
