Summary: 

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, conduct in-depth data analysis, and develop technical solutions to drive operational efficiency and innovation. You will leverage your experience with data querying tools to synthesize and communicate insights to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of ad hoc data analysis projects that leverage non-standard data sources.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Estimate realistic timelines, adapt to shifting priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Develop reports and analytics, presenting findings in written and verbal formats to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize a variety of coding languages and tools including SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx to build Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to translate business needs into analytical questions and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Act as a data expert, promoting best practices in data modeling and analytics.
  • Leverage scheduling technologies to automate data workflows.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions, data visualization strategies, and design sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2 or more years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field required.
  • Proficiency in database management, ETL frameworks, and online analytical processing.
  • Experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or Data Scientist is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling and data mining is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau are preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx are preferred.
  • Ability to meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities and achieve high levels of productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
