ABOUT THE JOB

The Director of Data Integration oversees all aspects of data ingestion, extraction, and integration processes to ensure seamless data exchanges between Marathon Health, clients, third-party vendors, and internal systems. This role requires strong technical expertise and process management skills to guarantee data quality, accuracy, and efficiency. The Director will provide strategic leadership and effective process management of enrollment and eligibility file imports, claims data ingestion, and ensuring the delivery of standardized data extracts. This role fosters strong client relationships and drives value through efficient, high-quality data integration solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Ingestion and Integration

  • Direct the oversight of enrollment and eligibility file ingestion, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency and removing obstacles to keep the team on track.
  • Manage claims data ingestion, supporting processes with analytics, reporting, and business goals while supporting the team in resolving challenges to deliver on stakeholder expectations.
  • Delivery of data extracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and defined standards.
  • Drive seamless integration and data exchange initiatives with clients and third-party vendors, manage and set expectations, address team roadblocks, and enhance operational performance.

Data Quality and Process Management

  • Implement and enforce data quality controls to maintain accuracy and consistency across all systems.
  • Develop and optimize data integration workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Responsible for measuring, monitoring, and resolving data-related issues, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Maintain and deliver comprehensive process and workflow documentation, ensuring it supports operational excellence and drives continuous improvement.

Client and Vendor Interaction

  • Provide leadership in managing client and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment on data integration requirements and processes to support requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data exchange specifications and ensure successful implementation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to support long-term partnerships and continuous improvement.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of data integration specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support team success.
  • Develop training programs and career growth opportunities for team members.

Technical Expertise

  • Utilize industry-standard tools and technologies for data integration and management.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in data integration and exchange.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance data integration capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information systems, data management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in data integration, data management, or related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity in a healthcare environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
