About The Team:
Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few.
What you'll do:
- Through this role you have an opportunity to design and develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
- You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.
- In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes, best practices and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns.
- You will show your skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.
- You will be required to review design and code, provide technical solutions to team for complex requirements.
- Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
- Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work.
- You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
- You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
- 10 years of object-oriented programming experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices, React.
- Experience working in Azure SQL, Cosmos, Blob Storage, GCS, Hive, Apache Spark and Airflow.
- Good understanding of Data Structures.
- 8+ years of experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Have programming experience preferably in the Finance/ retail / ecommerce industry.
- Python knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience working in Agile Methodology.
- Experience using CI/CD, tools for logging and metrics.
- A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and machine learning.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
